Just in time for Thanksgiving, our elementary students are learning about cranberries! Brubaker Elementary students tried cranberries tart, fresh and dried. Pick a Better Snack educators say all forms count when it comes to fruits and vegetables!

Brubaker’s annual Canned Food Drive will be from November 17 – 21. Students may bring non-perishable food items to be donated to the Food Bank of Iowa. Please help Brubaker in the pursuit to fight against hunger in Iowa.

Brubaker will be hosting a literacy and math event for families. Families are welcome to come to school and be a part of activities in the classroom on November 25th. Kindergarten, First, and Second grades will be hosting from 1:00-2:00 pm. Grades 3, 4, and 5 will host from 2:15-3:15 pm. Please RSVP by November 21st. We look forward to seeing you on the 25th!
