Brubaker will be hosting a program where incoming kindergarten students will have an opportunity to get an early start to learning about school. They will be interacting with peers, learning new routines, as well as getting a head start on math and literacy concepts. The program, including lunch is free of charge. You are welcome to stop by the main office and sign up, or call 242-8405 if you have any additional questions.

Under the federal No Child Left Behind law, this school will be offering school choice for the 2015-16 school year. DMPS will again offer breakfast and lunch over the summer months to children 18 and younger. The number of sites has grown, and so have the number of meals served. Last summer, DMPS staff fed children 28,722 breakfasts and 79,698 lunches. DMPS has sponsored a summer meal program for more than 30 years. It was a big #BowtieTuesday Brubaker as our dean of student, Eric Van Dorin, designed a t-shirt that staff, students and parents ordered to raise funds for a local charity that supports kids with cancer. The response was outstanding with nearly 200 shirts ordered, and $570 in proceeds donated to Kids Living Brave in the name of 3rd grader Jonathan Dooley, aka Agent J.
