What: Student Resource Pick-up

When: Wednesday, September 2nd-1:00 –6:00 pm

Where: Brubaker Parking Lot (West –enter from Sheridan Ave.)

Brubaker Families,

I am reaching out to you today to inform you of one project we are putting together to support students learning in a virtual setting.  Brubaker will be putting together bags with several items for our learners and will make them available for you soon. .Details: Brubaker staff will have bags with instructional materials needed for virtual learning prepared. Families will enter the parking lot from Sheridan Ave (just like arrival and dismissal). Families will either have a sign with student grade level or inform the staff member of student’s grade level. For example, “I have one 2nd grader and one 4th grader.”A member from the grade level will bring the materials to the vehicle and either hand them through the window or place them in the trunk of the vehicle  Vehicles will then exit from Sheridan Ave.

Important details:

•Families who do not have a computer for each student in their household will also be able to pick up their device(s).We will make sure that all devices have been updated and logged in. Each student will need access to their own assigned laptop.

•Requests for re-imaging or repair for currently assigned laptops will need to be made through a scheduled appointment by calling 242-8405. Laptops will not be traded or exchanged as we have one device per child.

•The resources being provided are beyond those listed on Class Supply Lists. Families are responsible for providing items listed on Class Supply Lists.

We recognize that many questions regarding and uncertainties remain. We appreciate your understanding as we continue to focus on developing plans.
